MAVEN

Intro :
Maven Klint Huffman was born on November 26, 1976 in Crimora, VA. At the age of 2, both of his parents were killed in a car accident. His aunt, Sherma Huffman, raised him. After attending Eastern Mennonite University, he moved to Portland to play baseball for the Aloha Knights. He became a sixth-grade teacher but quit that job when he was invited to participate in Tough Enough .

Tough Enough Season 1 - 2001:
Tough Enough was a reality show on MTV where people would compete for a one year WWF contract. The contestants were trained by Tazz, Al Snow, & Torri. There were two contracts on the line, one for a man and one for a woman. During the contest, his aunt, who he called mom, was hospitalized with cancer. Despite this problem, he continued with the contest and won the first season of the show.

Wrestling Star:
His first match occurred in October 2001 after his former trainer Tazz attacked him during an interview. In January, he scored a huge upset when he eliminated The Undertaker from The Royal Rumble. He would go on to compete for and win the WWE Hardcore title on several occasions.

Injuries and a Tragedy:
In 2002, he suffered a broken leg when he tried to perform a baseball slide on Christian. After missing six months of action, he started to feud with Chris Nowinski, the person that came in second place in Tough Enough. About a year later, he broke his elbow which also required him to miss half a year. On February 12, 2004, Sherma Huffman passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Main Event to Surreal Life:
Maven returned to the ring in late 2004 as part of a group out to destroy Evolution. He was in the main event of the Survivor Series and his team won. Due to that victory, he won the right to be GM of RAW for one night. On that night, he fought the World Champion Triple H. From there, his career went south quickly and in June of 2005 was released from his WWE contract. Later in the year, he filmed the 6th season of the VH1 show The Surreal Life .
